The Neighbourhood, whom Pigeons & Planes calls “one of 2012′s bubbling bands,” have announced their debut album I Love You. will be released April 23, 2013 via Columbia Records. The band has also confirmed appearances at this year’s SXSW Music Festival and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The Los Angeles quintet, in which the UK’s The Sunday Times describes their sound as, “dark-hearted, descending-chord epics” released their debut 5-track EP, I’m Sorry, in August of last year, featuring the hot singles, “Female Robbery” and “Sweater Weather.”
