The advertising campaign for the new Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft is getting a little injection from Langhorne Slim’s upbeat, rowdy Americana/rock anthem, “The Way We Move.” The song is featured as the soundtrack in the new TV spot, “PC for You,” that rolls out nationwide today. “When looking for music for the advertising campaign, we sought out artists and songs with unique sounds and an upbeat indie vibe to introduce Windows 8. ‘The Way We Move’ by Langhorne Slim fit the bill perfectly,” said Jon Sneider, director of advertising and social media for Windows.
