Chris Isaak, currently in the midst of an international tour behind his critically acclaimed album Beyond The Sun, will make a special stop in New York City to perform in the 86th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 22nd. This iconic American artist–“one of the great pop voices of modern times,” according to the Austin American Statesman–is an inspired choice to star in the nationally televised event, a beloved tradition marking the beginning of the holiday season in the U.S.

Thanks so much for sharing this great news. I’ve always liked Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” but it wasn’t until I heard Chris Isaak sing it on his new album that I fell in LOVE with the song! I’m going to be busy preparing for Thanksgiving so I won’t be able to watch the parade while it airs. I will certainly make sure that my DISH Hopper records it, and since it has an enormous 2-terabyte hard drive I know that I’ll be able to save it for a long time without the need to delete for new recordings. I have plenty of family and coworkers from DISH coming over, so I think this may also be a special after dinner treat!
