Danger Village veterans and Melbourne natives Alpine have signed to Votiv and are set to release their debut full-length album, A Is For Alpine, in early 2013.

The album was released in Australia on Ivy League on August 10, 2012 to critical acclaim and debuted at #1 on the iTunes Album Chart.

After releasing the Zurich EP in 2010, the band saw praise from The Guardian, NYLON, The Fader, Pitchfork, Spinner, and American Songwriter.   Their “Hands” remix by producer Goldroom reached #1 on the We Are Hunted charts and was recently covered in Vogue Magazine in the U.S.   Their video for “Villages” currently has 1.3 million hits on YouTube, and “Hands” has over half a million plays on YouTube.

Alpine has toured extensively with acts such as Cloud Control, Sia, and The Naked and Famous and is currently on an Australian headlining tour. They will be touring the U.S. in 2013.

Be on the lookout for updates as we begin to introduce the U.S. to the stunning A Is For Alpine.
