This follows up an impressive week of 75k downloads for the track. The song, also available on his debut album The Lateness of the Hour, formally solidifies the UK singer and songwriter as an international force.
“Too Close” rose to prominence as the soundtrack for Microsoft’s blockbuster Internet Explorer ad, “A More Beautiful Web.” With the premiere of the spot in March, the single reached #20 on the iTunes Top 100 Songs and the top 10 of the iTunes Pop Chart, selling over 100k downloads in merely three weeks. It’s held strong in the iTunes Top 100 since release. Meanwhile, the official music video is fast approaching 6 million YouTube/VEVO views.
