Innovative Long Beach, Calif. based independent label 37 Records is set to showcase a few of its most popular artists–singer-songwriter Cathy-Anne McClintock and alternative rockers The Gromble–at “Kindness,” a community-based fundraiser for BKindLB, a project of Leadership Long Beach.
A new anti-bullying themed video of Cathy-Anne ‘s song “No Matter What” originally recorded with Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea on her 2009 self-titled debut album–will debut at the event, which is designed to illuminate new ways people can “BKind” to each other, to ourselves and to the city of Long Beach.
“Kindness” takes place Saturday, March 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 604 Pine Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802. Tickets are $5 each.
