So-Cal alternative rockers The Dirty Heads have announced their long-awaited new album, Cabin By The Sea, which will be globally released on Five Seven Music on June 19th. The album, produced by Mario C., was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas and features collaborations with Matisyahu, Del the Funky Homosapien, Ky-Mani Marley and Rome. Cabin, the follow up to 2008’s Any Port In A Storm showcases the band’s signature rock/reggae/hip-hop sound that that is synonymous with its good vibes. Sonically, the tracks range from the feel good reggae tune, aptly entitled “Your Love,” to the bright and upbeat acoustic pop of the title track, to the easy grooves of the first single, “Spread Too Thin.” Legendary L.A. alternative rock station and longtime supporter of The Dirty Heads, KROQ, premiered “Spread Too Thin” on March 9th and shortly added the track into rotation.
