Singer and songwriter Susan Justice, who has been building a buzz with her honest voice and open-hearted songs, will release her debut album, Eat Dirt, on Capitol Records/Kite Records on March 26th. The album is a collage of emotionally resonant songs that are deeply personal and reflective, but at the same time connect with anyone who’s ever tried to figure out who they are and where they belong.
Justice, who has played guitar since age six and writing lyrics since age 14, co-wrote every song on Eat Dirt with songwriter/producer Toby Gad, who also produced the album. Gad is known for his work with Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Fergie, Alicia Keys, and many other best-selling artists. “Susan is a real artist who can do it all,” he says. “She can simply pick up a guitar and command your attention. She moves you to tears of joy and somehow makes you want to stand up and cheer. I love her honesty, vulnerability, and inner beauty.”
