Rise Records and Chunksaah Records are proud to announce the co-release of Comet, the brand new studio album from New Jersey’s THE BOUNCING SOULS. Set to be released in stores and online on June 12, 2012, Comet marks the Souls’ ninth proper full-length offering. Having been a band since 1989, the Souls gained legacy status years ago, and this new 10-song recording is everything you’d expect and want from the band and more. Comet was produced by the legendary Bill Stevenson at the Blasting Room (Rise Against, Hot Water Music, Descendents) in Ft. Collins, CO, and is another solid milestone in the band’s celebrated career.

The Bouncing Souls are prepping worldwide tour plans for 2012, including a hometown Bamboozle appearance on May 20 in Asbury Park, NJ, with fellow Jersey heroes Bon Jovi, as well as U.S. and European headline runs this summer. Having sold hundreds of thousands of CDs and records around the world, The Bouncing Souls’ success throughout the years has been completely organic, a type of legacy that has been achieved without a single radio hit. Its diehard fan base of “True Believers” is rivaled by none, and they’ve built this following the honest way by constantly touring and consistently writing amazing songs.
