Caithlin De Marrais – the Brooklyn-based former frontwoman of the beloved indie rock band Rainer Maria, for whom “sonic bliss comes naturally,” as the Boston Globe put it – is readying her sophomore solo album ‘Red Coats’ for November 8 release on End Up Records. A progression for Caithlin, the autumnal sounds of ‘Red Coats’ evokes comparisons to Bjork, Lali Puna, and Mirah.
