With a fresh and bold new take on indie music, the Portland, Maine rock band, There Is No Sin, will be featured in the magazine that is a must-have for every music lover, Under the Radar. The trendy zine circulates and distributes internationally, 60,000 magazines to a wide variety of chain and independent bookstores, along with an impressive 168,000 readership per issue. Along with the upcoming feature, the group will have a track from their new album stamped with a “must hear” sticker and showcased on the magazine’s digital sampler.
There Is No Sin expects to release their new 11-track album, “We Are Revealed,” in September of 2011. The opening track from the album, Arrive, will be featured in the magazine’s newest Digital Sampler mix which has featured past works by Deathcab for Cutie and Sufan Stevens. Frontman Troy Keiper is psyched for this opportunity and “has discovered a lot of great music in Under The Radar over the years. It’s such a fun magazine. To have one of my songs featured in it feels surreal.”
Issue #37 of Under the Radar will be at all major newsstands and bookstores throughout October. A bonus inside the magazine for readers will be a complimentary code that they can then enter online to download the sample track Arrive from the upcoming There Is No Sin album “We Are Revealed.”
