A month after Hornitosâ„¢ Tequila kicked off their new Mariachi Mash Up competition (which featured Cheap Trick in an unforgettable mariachi rendition of their hit single “Surrender”), Hornitos is proud to announce Boston University Alums Jon Sandler and the Fancy Band as the official winners of the inaugural contest with their inspired cover of “Young Folks” by Peter, Bjorn, and John.
Jon Sandler and the Fancy Band went Horns Up!â„¢ in their mariachi cover of “Young Folks” by Peter Bjorn and John. In addition to receiving a $10,000 cash prize, Jon Sandler and the Fancy Band will also be featured in the coveted “Backbeat” section of Billboard magazine.
