CAROLINE JONES SHINES ON NEW RELEASE ‘FALLEN FLOWER’

Singer/songwriter Caroline Jones chose Fallen Flower’s 11 tracks from over 45 songs recorded at New York’s Avatar Studios and Nashville’s Loud Studios in 2010. Caroline singlehandedly wrote and produced the album in addition to playing guitar, 6-string banjo, harmonica, and singing both lead vocals and harmonies.

After spending years gaining production experience in New York and Nashville with songwriters and producers such as Chris Toland, Tommy Mottola, James Stroud, Anthony Smith, Greg Barnhill, Jon Randall, Stephony Smith and Shelly Fairchild, Caroline felt free to “express without regard for convention or stricture” on Fallen Flower. The resulting album’s songwriting style combines pop, country and folk. The more subtle influences, though, seem endless; “Louise” and “Ain’t No Bows” include orchestral string parts arranged by Adi Yeshaya.
