Indie pop-punkers Lemuria, fresh off their SXSW showcase, will be heading out on tour this summer with Against Me! and Screaming Females. The tour will start on May 31st in Millvale, PA and roll down the east coast to Maryland before heading back north through New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and finally ending on June 20th in North Dakota. After these dates, Lemuria will be continuing on their tour through the United Kingdom with Cheap Girls and a show at Hevy Festival.
Lemuria’s most recent release and Bridge Nine full-length debut, Pebble, is “an album that’s just as bitter as it is sweet, trading its youthful optimism for an older, and wiser, outlook” (CMJ). It has received praise from major outlets like Alternative Press, which gave it 4 out of 5 stars, and AMP Magazine, as well as a cover feature in Ghettoblaster. The album, which Pastepunk claims “sets the standard and raises the bar for everyone trying to produce something memorable for the year” hit shelves on January 11th.
