GAGA RELEASES COUNTRY VERSION OF “BORN THIS WAY”
Lady Gaga has released a country version of her hit single “Born This Way.” According to NME.com, “The track strips the single of its electronics and disco beats and replaces them with slide guitar and mouth organ.” It was produced by Gaga and Fernando Garibay, and you can check it out on YouTube now.

LADY GAGA TURNS 25!
Today (3/28), Lady Gaga turns 25 years old. We can only imagine how the pop star is going to be celebrating this big occasion, but if you know Gaga, you know there is most likely going to be a couple of alcoholic beverages involved. And of course, her fans, or Little Monsters, will almost certainly be celebrating along with Gaga.
MINDLESS BEHAVIOR DROPS REMIX VIDEO
Mindless Behavior, who recently played a dozen dates on Janet Jackson’s Number Ones Tour, will premiere their video for the remix of “My Girl” on BET’s 106 & Park today (3/28). The clip, which features Ciara, Tyga and Lil Twist, is a remix of the original video, which scored over four-million views on Vevo. The group is comprised of four 13-year-old boys named Prodigy, Ray Ray, Princeton and Roc Royal, who told us about “My Girl”. Mindless Behavior are working on their debut album, which is slated to arrive later this year.

PWT’S TALK TOUR
The Plain White T’s sat down with Billboard.com to talk a bit about the next leg of their The Wonders of the Younger tour. Frontman Tom Higgenson said that the group is “going to be touring all year, basically,” and that they’re hoping to head all over the world, including Japan and Australia. The trek kicks off Saturday (4/2) in Houston, Texas.

Last week, Maroon 5 and Coca-Cola teamed up to give 20 contest winners from different countries all over the world the chance to watch a live feed into a studio in London where the band was working for 24-hours straight on a brand new song. When it was all finished, it was then played live and broadcast over the Internet to more than 350-thousand fans. According to Coca-Cola, the song will be available for download on Friday at Coca-Cola.com/Music.
MADONNA SCHOOL SCRAPPED
It seems that the girls’ school that Madonna intended to build in Malawi isn’t going to ever get underway. According to the New York Times, the Queen of Pop gave 11-million dollars to build the academy, but the project has been scrapped due to financial mismanagement. A statement from her Raising Malawi charity said that she is still going to do everything she can to help bring education to the girls of the African country.
MADONNA PAYS TRIBUTE TO LIZ TAYLOR
Stars are coming out with their tributes to Elizabeth Taylor, who recently passed away at the age of 79. Madonna, who was an old friend of the actress, said in a statement, “I am so sorry to hear that this great legend has passed. I admired and respected her not only as an actress but for her amazing and inspiring work as an AIDS activist. She was one of a kind.”
JAY-Z, KANYE COMPLETE WATCH THE THRONE
Good news! Vibe.com reports Jay-Z and Kanye West have completed their joint album, Watch The Throne. One of Hova’s longtime friends and engineers, Gimel “Young Guru” Keaton, revealed that the project just needs a little tweaking. He explained, “The core of the album is finished. Kanye takes what contributing producers do and adds on to it and I think that’s his genius.” At this time there is no confirmed released date for the project.

NE-YO, CEE-LO ON JAPANESE BENEFIT ALBUM
We recently reported Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj are lending their tunes for a digital-only compilation album to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan earlier this month. We just learned the official track list for the project has been finalized and other artists featured on the release include Ne-Yo, Cee-Lo, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Eminem, Sade and many more. Proceeds from sales will go to the Japanese Red Cross.
