THE VOODOO JETS HONOR FALLEN DRUMMER IN NEW VIDEO

The Voodoo Jets have announced the release of the band’s first ever music video to honor former drummer John Fowler, who passed away three years ago today. Fowler, a brilliant and colorful talent who also toured and recorded with Steelheart, worked with The Voodoo Jets for over 5 years before suffering a brain aneurism in 2008.

The video is for “CRY,” track one from the band’s 2nd full-length CD. “Despite the title of the song, we had a lot of fun making the video in the somewhat unpredictable and disjointed spirit that The Voodoo Jets have always lived by,” reported band co-founder Micah Sheveloff. Three songs (including “CRY”) from the new CD were produced by Rich Spillberg, who is currently a Pro Tools Engineer on the road with Josh Groban. “I think Rich brought a regimented approach to modern day recording that really benefitted us as artists as we were putting this record together,” Sheveloff added.
