Copenhagen-based trio WhoMadeWho are excited to announce their signing to Kompakt for the release of their latest mini-LP Knee Deep,out April 26th. The band will be touring behind the album in Europe and North America, performing at several festivals including SXSW 2011, and will release another full-length later this year.
Following an extensive tour supporting their acclaimed full length The Plot (2009), the trio isolated themselves in separate rooms of a hotel near their hometown to start work on the new album. In order to stay true to the various musical directions that occurred in the writing process, they decided to first release a mini-album with a full length to follow. Knee Deep colors a darker more experimental side of the group as they continue to further their foundation of melodramatic dance pop.
