The members of Brooklyn’s Madison Square Gardeners have a long pedigree as backing musicians for artists like Ben Kweller, The New York Dolls and Jill Sobule, to name a few. Columbus Alive approves, “The music is reminiscent of some of Wilco’s most pleasant backyard BBQ tracks,” and Cleveland Scene says they play, “A snappy collection of power-pop tunes that connects the musical dots between Tom Petty and Paul Westerberg.”
The Madison Square Gardeners are following up the Tune it Up, Dime it Out (March 2010) and Taste the Thunder (Nov 2010) EPs with the release of the Teeth of Champions EP on March 15, 2011 via First of Three Records / Ioda.
