AVRIL AND DERYCK FINALIZE DIVORCE
According to the Associated Press, Avril Lavigne and Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley have finalized their divorce. Court records show a judge approved the terms of the breakup. The agreement calls for each performer to keep the rights to their song catalogues and hold on to their own awards and guitars. Neither side is entitled to spousal support. Lavigne filed for divorce in October 2009, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair married in July 2006 and have no children together.
JANET JACKSON ANNOUNCES BIG TOUR PLANS
Janet Jackson announced through AOL that she’s gearing up to embark on her “largest ever world tour” in 2011. The For Colored Girls actress revealed that fans will be able to request which of the 35 cities the icon will take the stage in. Jackson says she’s very “excited” and explained that the first fan who voted for each of the 35 cities that she selects will get an autographed copy of her upcoming book, True You, and her Number Ones CD. GAGA GIVES AN ALBUM UPDATE
Lady Gaga recently wrote a little on Twitter about her highly anticipated forthcoming album, Born This Way. The pop star said that “it won’t be much longer” before we get to hear it, and that “it’s almost perfect,” but that she doesn’t just want “almost.” Born This Way is due out early next year.
WILL.I.AM TALKS THE BEGINNING
Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am is talking about the band’s forthcoming album, The Beginning. According to ContactMusic.com, Will says that the effort will take listeners from the ‘80s until now, and that that particular decade “launched humanity into hyper mode.” The Beginning is due out on November 30th.

BRUNO MARS’ COURT DATE PUSHED BACK
Bruno Mars was supposed to be in a Las Vegas courtroom late last week to answer to charges for his September 19th arrest for drug possession at the Hard Rock Hotel, but apparently, the date got pushed back. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the pop star is now due in court on December 14th. Mars’ lawyers refused to comment on why the date was changed.
ADAM LEVINE TO POSE NUDE

James Blunt was rumored to have been spotted recently making out with former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, and it appears that this isn’t the first time the two have been linked together. According to DigitalSpy.com, the pair was supposedly hooking up back in 2005, but Jessica later shot down the rumor saying at the time that there was “no way” she would date him. Perhaps she’s finally given the “You’re Beautiful” singer a shot?
TAYLOR SWIFT SHARES AN EMOTIONAL FAN STORY
Taylor Swift is known to have a strong relationship with her fans, and she recently revealed a story to Tiger Beat magazine about what she learned from one of her biggest fans who passed away in a car accident. The fan’s mom came on Taylor’s tour bus one day and told the country star her son was a huge fan and he had accidently crashed his car while listening to one of her albums. Taylor said, “I’ve never felt that kind of sadness before. He got into the car accident while he was listening to my music. My songs were playing when the accident happened and he had my CD cover taped to his dash board.” Taylor said that she cried a lot when she found out, “It’s the saddest thing in the world when you lose a fan.” Taylor took the time to meet his friends and family to show them he had made an impact on her life too.
CHRIS BROWN DOING GREAT PROBATION WORK
Billboard.com has learned Chris Brown has received great feedback for following the terms on his court-ordered domestic violence classes and community service. Los Angeles Superior Court judge Patricia Schnegg recently told the pop star that he’s “taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of [him].” Hopefully he’ll steer clear of trouble for the remainder of his five year probation for assaulting his then girlfriend, Rihanna, in February 2009.

T.I. POSTS ANGRY LETTER FROM PRISON
T.I. is currently serving his 11 month sentence for violating the terms of his probation, but that doesn’t mean he has to like it. The rapper posted on his official website that he’s “sick and motherf***ing tired of going to jail.” Here’s what Tip wrote in his angry letter:
“This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that’s saying a lot for a n***a who’s been down locked up as many times as I have. I see this as a real ass whoopin’. The kind you don’t just go back outside to play afterwards. You take ya ass to bed and don’t come out of your room until it’s time to go to school. I don’ t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I’m certainly sick and mother f*cking tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it. I’d have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life. Even though it’s been a long road, I’m still standing, barely but nevertheless still standing. At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmamma, even for the haters or the people I let down. But nah… I got to do this shit for me!!! I’ll be God damned if I’ve come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! F*ck that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my mother f*ckin’ shades cause I’m ready to cash my darkest hours in…ASAP!!!
