GLEE TOPS DIGITAL SONGS CHART
Glee’s cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” will debut at number one on the Digital Songs chart, selling over 214-thousand copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It marks the show’s first number one on the chart and its biggest sales week to date. According to Billboard, the cast’s best week previously came when its first single, “Don’t Stop Believin’,” debuted at number two, selling over 177-thousand copies. Last week’s number one song, Rihanna’s “What’s My Name?” featuring Drake, slides to number six with 152-thosuand copies. Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R” holds at number two and the Black Eyed Peas’ “The Time (Dirty Bit)” bows at number three selling over 170-thousand copies. Meanwhile, Katy Perry’s new single “Firework” climbs two spots to number four, while P!nk’s “Raise Your Glass” slips one spot to number five.

Susan Boyle scores her second number one album as The Gift debuts at the top of the Billboard album chart, selling over 318-thousand copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Taylor Swift’s Speak Now slips to number two, Kid Cudi starts at number three with Man on the Moon II, the Now 36 compilation bows at number four and Bon Jovi enters at number five with their Greatest Hits album.
JUSTIN BIEBER TO PERFORM “PRAY” AT THE AMAS
Justin Bieber will perform his new song, “Pray,” at the American Music Awards on Sunday. The teen pop phenom announced the news on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Wednesday. Bieber also talked about his upcoming 3D movie, having dinner with Rihanna and working with Kanye West. Bieber’s My Worlds Acoustic album arrives in stores on November 26th. Justin takes the AMA stage on Sunday night at 8 PM Eastern on ABC.

DRAKE TITLES HIS SOPHOMORE ALBUM
Following the success of his Thank Me Later debut, Drake has announced in the newest issue of GQ Magazine that he’s titled his sophomore effort. The disc will be called Take Care. It’s unknown when he intends to release the project or how many tracks have been completed. We’ll keep you posted.
To date, Drake’s Thank Me Later LP has sold over 1.1-million copies.
KATY AND RUSSELL’S MOM ARE VERY CLOSE
Katy Perry and her mother-in-law are getting very, very close. So close in fact that Katy thinks Russell Brand’s mom Barbara would take her side if she and the comedian were to get into an argument. Katy told Now magazine that Barbara knows that Russell’s a “devoted husband,” but “if he steps out of line,” Katy thinks Mrs. Brand will have her back. In the same interview, Katy revealed that Russell wants a big family, with “11 boys named after” his favorite soccer team.
LADY GAGA DOESN’T LIKE OLD PICS OF HERSELF
Lady Gaga does not like old pictures of her being revealed to the public. According to More! magazine, a source says that the pop star “hates things from her past being made public” and that she’s “contacted exes, childhood friends and workmates to buy the copyright to any old pictures and footage to make sure that nothing else surfaces.” Gaga’s had to worry about more than pictures recently. Just in the past few months, footage was found of her acting in a public service announcement and on an early episode of The Sopranos.
P!NK TALKS TO ELLEN ABOUT PREGNANCY
P!nk opened up about to Ellen DeGeneres on her show about being pregnant. On yesterday’s episode, the pop star said that she “didn’t want to” confirm that she was actually pregnant because she’s “had a miscarriage before.” P!nk also spoke about the sex of the baby, saying that she’s “terrified” because the doctor said she thinks it’s going to be a girl. THE DAUGHTRY TWINS HAVE ARRIVED!
Chris Daughtry and his wife Deanna have just added two new members to their family. In a post on his band’s official website, the former American Idol contest revealed that a surrogate give birth to his fraternal twins Adalynn Rose and Noah James yesterday morning. Chris said that their family is “overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts” and that “the babies are both healthy and resting.” The twins join Chris and Deanna’s other children, Hannah and Griffin. SWIFT MATCHES FRAGRANCES TO PAST ROMANCES
Taylor Swift tells Allure magazine in its December issue that she used to keep a big tray of fragrances at her parents’ house, and whenever she wanted to bring back memories of an old flame, she’d wear that particular scent. Taylor said, “I’d put on Abercrombie 8 to remember when I was in ninth grade and had my first boyfriend, because he gave me that.” She also used the tactic to try and boost her popularity saying, “The coolest girl in school wore Britney Spears Fantasy, and I had to copy her.” Taylor is set to launch her own line of perfume in 2011.
TONI BRAXTON BATTLING LUPUS?
According to E! Online, Toni Braxton has opened up for the very first time about her ongoing battle with lupus. The singer announced her medical condition during the 8th Annual Lupus L-A Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Toni later tweeted that going public was “a big moment for me. It was a tough decision to come out about it. But it was such a relief!” In addition to her aliment, the songbird also suffers from a heart condition called pericarditis and had a benign tumor removed form her breast two years ago.
WHAT IS LUPUS? According to Lupus.org, those who are diagnosed with Lupus are fighting “a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body).”
ADELE MOVES BACK IN WITH HER MOM
After the release of her album 19, Adele made a big deal about finally moving out of her mother’s house in England and into her own place. And just before the release of her next album, 21, it appears that the singer-songwriter has moved back in with her mum. According to NME, the “Chasing Pavements” singer had to go back home because she “missed her [mom] too much.” 21 is due out in February.

Is James Blunt dating a former Pussycat Doll? According to British paper The Sun, a source says that the singer-songwriter and Jessica Sutta were apparently caught making out in a Los Angeles club recently, although nothing has been officially confirmed.

KID ROCK ANNOUNCES BORN FREE TOUR AND BIRTHDAY BASH
Kid Rock has announced plans to promote his newest album, Born Free, with an NFL halftime show and 27 tour dates. Kid and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band will play Ford Field at halftime when the New England Patriots come to town to take on the Detroit Lions in a nationally-televised game. Kid will return to Detroit on January 15th for the first stop on his Born Free Tour, where he’ll celebrate his 40th birthday with a few surprise celebrity guests appearing for fans that night. The first leg of his headlining tour, which features special guest Jamey Johnson, continues in Saginaw, Michigan and ends March 12th in Memphis.

Carrie Undewood is the covergirl for the December issue of InStyle Magazine, where she discusses her married life and her fashion style. Carrie wore eight different dresses during her co-hosting duties at this year’s CMA Awards, and she makes those fashion decisions based on her personal preference. Underwood has been noted for her sensible fashion, but sometimes critics aren’t always easy on the country star. She said, “I used to think, I don’t want anyone to say bad things about me.
