JUSTIN BIEBER’S FRAGRANCE

As we previously reported, Justin Bieber will be releasing a fragrance line.   According to Women’s Wear Daily, Bieber is preparing a unisex fragrance line that will be infused into dog tags and wristbands.   They will be sold at Wal-Mart starting on November 26th.  

JUSTIN BIEBER PREMIERES MOVIE TRAILER

Justin Bieber surprised fans at his Monday night show in Los Angeles by premiering the trailer for his upcoming 3-D film, Never Say Never.   After guest appearances by Usher and Sean Kingston, Bieber took time halfway into the show to debut the preview.   The trailer shows Justin as a toddler, banging an elaborate drum beat on a kitchen chair, then moves on to a series of home movie clips that chronicle his rise to fame – singing, playing keyboard and strumming an acoustic guitar. It takes you beyond the stage and shows his everyday life and the famous people who helped him along the way. Most of all, the focus seems to be on the fans. Never Say Never opens Valentine’s weekend in February 2011.

FM & KOL TOP iTUNES CHART

Far East Movement’s “Like a G6” featuring Cataracs & Dev is the number one most-downloaded track on iTunes this week after spending three weeks at number two.   Taylor Swift’s “Mean” is at number two, followed by Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World),” Nelly’s Just a Dream,” and Bruno Mars’ debut single, “Just The Way You Are.”   Kings of Leon top the iTunes album chart with Come Around Sundown, followed by Sugarland’s The Incredible Machine, Shakira’s Sale El Sol, Glee: The Music — The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Taylor Swift’s Speak Now.  

MILEY CYRUS STARS IN NEW VIDEO

Miley Cyrus stars in the new Rock Mafia music video for “The Big Bang.”   A 20-second trailer of the clip can be viewed at EOnline.com starting today.   On Monday, E! will premiere the video in its entirety, exclusively on E! News at 7 PM Eastern and on their website at 8 PM Eastern.  

MILEY CYRUS STATEMENT: “Rock Mafia is my family and there’s nothing that means more than creating with them.   The video is unique and honestly, was a life changing experience. This song means a lot to me.”

E! TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY: ADAM LAMBERT

Adam Lambert’s E! True Hollywood Story will debut next month.   The show chronicles how far Lambert has come since his days as a freckle-faced, red-headed kid playing “Linus” in his school production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.   Along the way, he’s pushed boundaries, reinvented glam-rock and transformed himself into a universal sex symbol.   The American Idol-runner-up shares his journey to stardom in his own words in the E! True Hollywood Story, which will premiere November 21st at 9 PM Eastern.

GAGA TALKS NEW ALBUM WITH ANDERSON COOPER

Lady Gaga recently sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper for her first interview regarding her forthcoming album, Born This Way.   The pop star told the news anchor that the effort is an “opus of universal identity” and that she feels this album embraces her fans’ “liberation and their future.”   Born This Way is due out early next year.

GAGA’S “BAD ROMANCE” ANNIVERSARY

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the release of one of Lady Gaga’s biggest songs, “Bad Romance.”   The pop star took to her Twitter account to write that she’ll “never forget writings those ‘ra-rahs’” on her tour bus and “hoping it would be a hit.”   Turns out she got her wish, because according to GagaDaily.com, “Bad Romance” is 15th best-selling digital song of all time.

KELLY CLARKSON SEES JORDIN SPARKS ON BROADWAY

TAYLOR SWIFT STAYS BUSY IN NYC

Taylor Swift was in New York City on Monday not only celebrating the release of her new album Speak Now, but also taping a scene for an upcoming NBC primetime special which will air Thanksgiving night. Fans were able to watch Taylor perform in Central Park for the program.   There, pictures were snapped of her playing the piano and onlookers said she performed the song “Back to December.”

MATCHBOX TWENTY HANGS OUT IN NEW YORK

Matchbox twenty fans have something to be excited about.   The band may not be putting out any new music quite yet, but all four members got together for a drink in New York City on Monday, and frontman Rob Thomas posted a picture on his Twitter account.   Were the guys talking about releasing a new album?   Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.   See the pic now at Twitter.com/ThisIsRobThomas.

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS TO PERFORM AT LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS

Enrique Iglesias is among the first performers announced for the 11th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.   He joins Juan Luis Guerra, Rosario, Camila, Pedro Fernández and Wisin y Yandel.   Actor/comedian Eugenio Derbez and actress/singer Lucero will co-host this year’s celebration, set for November 11th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.   The show will air live on the Univision Network at 8 PM Eastern.  

TAKE THAT ANNOUNCES EURO TOUR

Take That, which recently reunited with singer Robbie Williams after 15 years, has announced a 20-date U-K and European tour.   It marks the group’s first tour as a quintet since 1995.   According to Billboard, the trek kicks off on May 30th in Sunderland, northern England and will continue through Europe in July, including Milan and dates in Scandinavia and Germany.   Take That rose to fame in the 1990s with dance pop tunes and ballads like “Back for Good” and “Relight My Fire,” selling 25-million records and becoming the blueprint for boy band success. They were the first band since the Beatles to sell four consecutive number one singles.

NICKI TALKS POSSIBLE LIL WAYNE CONCERT

During a UStream session on Monday night, Nicki Minaj spilled some surprising news about the “welcome home” concert plans for Lil Wayne. The leading lady of Young Money revealed, “We might be together in Vegas. Probably. Possibly.” Interestingly enough, Birdman previously told media outlets that the plans have not been set in stone but the celebration would likely take place in Miami. Hmmm, could Weezy’s camp be planning a bi-coastal affair? We’ll keep you updates as details pour in.

T.I. OFFICIALLY DROPS KING UNCAGED TITLE

T.I. has chosen a new title for his oft-delayed album. Instead of going with King Uncaged, the Atlanta native has selected No Mercy for his seventh studio effort. It’s unknown if Tip intended to change the name before he was sentenced to 11-months in prison for violating the terms of his probation. In case you were wondering when he’ll turn himself in, the Associated Press reports the rapper is expected to begin to serve his time on November 1st at Arkansas’ Forrest City low-security prison — which is the same facility he just left federal on weapons charges.

COMMON, LUPE, HUDSON REP FOR CHICAGO!

It’s about time Chicago was given an anthem! Windy-city natives Lupe Fiasco, Common and Jennifer Hudson joined forced to create a record called “We Can Do It Now,” which will benefit Season 3 of Gatorade Replay. VANILLA ICE SPILLS ON FAVORITE FIVE RAPPERS

Vanilla Ice has told Billboard his personal top five greatest rappers and why they get the title. The “Ice Ice Baby” rapper crowns Jay-Z at number one spot because “‘Empire State of Mind’ is a great song,” adding “Whatever is going on, he’s the leader.” Coming in at number two, the ‘90s rapper says Lil Wayne “is on fire, without a doubt.” Meanwhile, Jadakiss claims the number third slot because Ice believes he’s “super-talented” and doesn’t need a “mainstream hit” to prove that. All live shows for the upcoming 2010-2011 A Thousand Suns World Tour will be available to download on LinkinPark.com and are typically available within a week after the performance. MADONNA’S EX PARTIES WITH THE BEP

Madonna and Jesus Luz may have broken up, but that doesn’t mean that the Brazilian is done mingling with the rich and famous.   According to the New York Post, Jesus partied with the Black Eyed Peas is his hometown of Rio de Janeiro, and even jumped in the DJ booth with will.i.am and apl.de.ap.   Learn more at NYPost.com.

MADONNA TO OPEN FITNESS CENTERS

Madonna will be opening fitness centers all over the world.   According to Billboard.com, the first Hard Candy Fitness will open in Mexico City at the end of November, and her manager said that gyms are also set to open in Argentina, Russia, Brazil and more.   Billboard also reports that Madonna will be making an appearance at the opening of the Mexico City facility.

TRAIN TEAM UP WITH COCA-COLA

It’s almost time for the holidays, which means that’s time to see advertisements for Coca-Cola featuring their iconic polar bear.   But this year, the soft drink company is adding some flair to the commercials, as they are going to feature a brand new song from the band Train.   According to a press release, the San Francisco rockers wrote a tune specifically for the occasion titled “Shake Up Christmas,” which frontman Pat Monahan said was “inspired by childhood memories of spending time with family and sharing the happiness and hope that the season brings.”

KATY, RUSSELL AND THE KAMA SUTRA

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are reportedly spending their honeymoon at the Maldives Islands, but that doesn’t mean that the comedian couldn’t tell a little joke on his way there from India.   According to ContactMusic.com, the newlywed said that he was going to spend the next few days “taking Katy through the Kama Sutra.”   A spokesperson for Brand had a serious answer when asked about the honeymoon, saying that “they have gone off on their own” and that it’s a “special time for them now.”

NO NOISE COMPLAINT AT KATY & RUSSELL’S WEDDING

Did Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s wedding cause too much “noise pollution?”   According to People.com, there were rumors coming out of India that local authorities were called to come to the wedding ceremony because of too much noise from fire crackers and loud music.   But a source told the website that those claims are not true, and that there are no official reports of any sort of disruption.

MICHAEL FRANTI HAS TO CANCEL ANOTHER SHOW

Michael Franti had to cancel another show due to his kidney stone operation.   In a post on his official website, the “Say Hey (I Love You)” singer said that he postponed his show in Albany, New York until January 21st.   He also took to his Twitter to explain more about the situation, saying that the procedures he’s been having are “not nearly as serious” as when his appendix ruptured last year, but that it’s more “acutely painful.”   Franti is scheduled to be on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight.

KINGS TOP FORBES’ RICH DEAD CELEBRITY LIST

Forbes has revealed their latest list of the top-earning dead celebrities and it’s topped by a pair of kings.   The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, took the number one spot, earning 275-million dollars over the past year — more than the other 12 stars on the list combined.   In second is The King, Elvis Presley, with 60-million bucks, thanks to tours of Graceland and the new Elvis-themed Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas.   Other rockers on the list include John Lennon at five with 17 mil and Jimi Hendrix in the 11 spot.  

Author J.R.R. Tolkien, Peanuts creator Charles Schulz, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo writer Stieg Larsson, Dr. Suess, Albert Enstein and George Steinbrenner are all also in the top ten.

PRINCE WELCOME 2 AMERICA TOUR DATES

Not only has Prince tapped Janelle Monáe to be a part of his upcoming Welcome 2 America tour, but we just learned the music icon has officially announced five tour dates for the U-S. After playing overseas, the “Purple Rain” singer will play Madison Square Garden and New Jersey’s Izod Center in December, where he’ll be joined by Sheila E., Mint Condition, Lalah Hathaway, Maceo Parker, Cassandra Wilson, Esperanza Spalding and others. LADY A TO SING AT WORLD SERIES

Lady Antebellum will perform the National Anthem for Game 2 of the World Series in San Francisco tomorrow. The country trio will also perform that night at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California, followed by dates in San Jose, California, on Friday, Los Angeles on Saturday, and Phoenix on Sunday. In addition, R&B singer John Legend will sing the National Anthem at Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday in San Francisco, while Kelly Clarkson will perform the “Star-Spangled Banner” on Saturday at Game 3 in Arlington, Texas.
