Boston native, and Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, producer, collaborator Bleu has just finished his fourth album of new solo material following 2009’s quietly released A Watched Pot (Fontana Distribution), titled Four. Due November 2 on his own The Major Label distributed through Redeye, Bleu will preview material at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles in September.
“I made this record just for me and my fans,” says Bleu. “I just want to take more chances and make them – and me – happy.”
If his DIY fundraising via Kickstarter is any indication, fans are already thrilled. Launched with the goal of $8,000 in 40 days, pledges are currently in excess nearly four times over with $30,000+ raised in a mere 20 days.
