U2 TOPS LIST OF L-A SHOWS
U2 is the number one requested concert in Los Angeles, according to Stubhub.com. The website compiled a list of the top five most requested tickets in the Los Angeles-metropolitan area. U2 tops the list, followed by Lady Gaga, Muse, Dave Matthews Band and Roger Waters. Lady Gaga will perform two shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles tomorrow and Thursday. Muse perform at the arena on September 25th. Roger Waters is playing three nights at the Staples Center, November 29th and 30th and again on December 5th, while U2 won’t play Angels Stadium in Anaheim until next June.
LILY ALLEN JOKES ABOUT GAGA, CATCHES HEAT
A pregnant Lily Allen performed at the Big Chill festival in England over the weekend and she seems to have angered some of Lady Gaga’s fans in the process. According to HeatWorld.com, something was thrown on stage that said “show me your penis.” Allen then said that someone must have “mistaken” her for Gaga. The crowd didn’t find it so funny and Allen quickly said that she was “only joking.” Lily also wrote on her Twitter about the incident after the show, saying that she’s Gaga’s “biggest fan” and a real “little monster.”
GO GREEN WITH MAROON 5
Maroon 5 are founding members of the Green Music Group, which tries to bring about widespread environmental change, and they have issued a challenge to all their fans. In a video posted online, Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael asked that people sign up with any sort of local non-profit in their area. A MALE ENGAGEMENT RING FOR BUBLE?
Michael Buble has been spotted wearing an engagement ring, which in America, is pretty uncommon for men to wear. According to TMZ, the singer-songwriter spoke about it to the crowd at his show in Canada earlier in the week, saying that where his fiancée, Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, is from, in Argentina, “the boy also wears the engagement ring.”

Paul McCartney had a show in Toronto, Canada on Sunday and some pretty famous names were spotted in attendance. According to British paper The Sun, both Michael Buble and Katie Holmes were seen backstage at the show.
WILL LILY ALLEN GET MARRIED SOON?
Is Lily Allen planning on getting married to boyfriend Sam Cooper before their baby is born? A source told ContactMusic.com that “marriage has never been a big deal to them, but now their friends are saying they may well marry just before the baby is born or just soon after.” Look magazine is also reporting that the couple is planning to buy a place in the English countryside because they would rather not raise their child in London.

NE-YO LOOKS FORWARD TO BEING A FATHER!
Ne-Yo announced through his Twitter account that he’s going to be a dad for the very first time. The singer tweeted: “LADIES AND GENTS!!! I’M HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT I’M HAVING A BEAUTIFUL BABYGIRL!!! THANK YOU GOD.” The mother of Ne-Yo’s child is Monyetta Shaw and she’s currently four months pregnant. But don’t expect wedding bells anytime soon for this bachelor. The songwriter told Ebony Magazine, “I am 30 and I do have my first child on the way, and I’m very, very, very excited about that. It’s a New Year’s baby and I’m just in a really good place right now.” The newborn is due January 2011. Congrats!
FANTASIA OVERDOSES ON SLEEPING PILLS?
According to TMZ, Fantasia Barrino has reportedly been treated for a medication overdose at a North Carolina hospital on Monday night. The former American Idol winner’s rep has confirmed that she was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville around 8:55 PM, but her condition was described as “non life-threatening.” Her rep also revealed Fanny took a combination of aspirin and sleeping pills. The singer is believed to be overwhelmed by the pending lawsuit regarding her relationship with boyfriend Antwaun Cook.
FANTASIA TALKS ALLEGED SEX TAPE SCANDAL
Fantasia has decided to address the alleged sex tape scandal with her rumored boyfriend, Antwuan Cook, and the divorce lawsuit from his estranged wife, Paula Cook. According to Billboard, the former American Idol winner’s manager, Brian Dickens, explained in a statement that the singer is “certain that she is not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook’s marriage.” Dickens added, “Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. Fantasia’s faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever.”
PARAMORE CELEBRATE 25 YEARS WITH ALTERNATIVE PRESS
Alternative Press celebrated their 25th anniversary with an acoustic set from Paramore this week. The magazine hosted the band in their offices in Cleveland, Ohio and 60 fans got to see the stripped down set. Paramore are out on the Honda Civic Tour and play Cincinnati, Ohio tomorrow night.

During the red carpet for the premiere of Lottery Ticket, Bow Wow told RealTalkNY.com that he’s tapped Jadakiss to executive produce his next album, Who Is Shad Moss? In addition, the emcee’s LP will include contributions from Lil Wayne, Drake and Soulja Boy. Bow’s debut effort on Cash Money Records will arrive on December 23rd. Who Is Shad Moss? will be Bow’s eighth studio album, if you count his joint disc with Omarion.
TAYLOR SWIFT’S NEW LYRICS ANALYZED
A journalist from the Wall Street Journal has analyzed Taylor Swift’s new song “Mine,” saying, “There’s a strong sense of almost-instant nostalgia,” — a yearning for the past. Reporter Christopher Farley says the song is filled with drawn-from-life details, and Taylor’s ability to make an intimate connection with her own material is part of why people are drawn to her music. He concluded, “Young listeners are nostalgic in reverse,” — meaning they connect with the song in hopes of what they hope to see in a relationship.
CHRIS BROWN REACTS TO RIHANNA/EMINEM VIDEO
During an interview with E! News, Chris Brown was asked what he thought about the new video for Rihanna and Eminem’s duet, “Love The Way You Lie.” The clip includes graphic images of domestic violence, and interestingly enough, Breezy claims he’s never seen it and had no further comment on the topic. In related news, the fallen pop star is focusing on rebuilding his music career and has begun recording the follow-up to 2009’s Graffiti.

ICE CUBE TALKS MONTANA SEX TAPE
GlobalGrind.com reports Ice Cube is speaking up about Laurence Fisburne’s troubling situation with his daughter, Montana, who is appearing in a new porn video. The West Coast rapper, who previously filmed with the actor, feels “once your kids get to a certain age you can’t control what they do, you can only hope that they do the right thing, do what you taught them and sometimes they don’t.” He added, “To me I feel bad for him, I don’t feel like he did a bad job or he didn’t do his job, (as a parent). WCLEF JEAN OWES FIVE MILLION TO IRS?
Just days after announcing his candidacy to run for president in Haiti, there are new reports that Wyclef Jean owes nearly 5.2-million dollars in back taxes. According to his official website, 50 Cent has tapped into his charitable side by registering as a possible bone marrow transplant donor. Alongside Tony Yayo, the gangsta rapper is looking to help an eleven-year-old leukemia patient, a Broadway star named Shannon Tavarez.
