Hailing from Manhattan’s Upper West Side, The Postelles, a quartet just in their early 20’s, have been busy winning over fans and critics alike the past two years at club shows and festival appearances around the globe, including this month’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
With a sound that comes equally influenced by 50’s doo-wop and swaggering garage rock, the band is now readying the release of their highly-anticipated self-titled debut album, co-produced with the Strokes’ guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., on Astralwerks/Capitol Records this October 12th.
