TINO COURY TO MAKE NYC DEBUT
Tino Coury will make his New York City performance debut as the support act for Jason Derulo tomorrow night at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza. His debut album Diary has sold nearly ten-thousand copies in just one month. The Pittsburgh-bred, L-A-based artist has been performing the song at various radio-sponsored shows around the country. He plays in Miami on June 20th, and heads to West Palm Beach, Florida on July 2nd.

OWL CITY HEADS BACK TO THE STUDIO
We reported a little while back that Owl City’s Adam Young was going to head in to the studio to work on some new material, and apparently, that time has come. According to a press release, Young is at home in Minnesota working on the follow-up to his platinum selling debut Ocean Eyes. He had better work quickly though, because Owl City is heading on the road this summer beginning in early August, opening up for both Maroon 5 and John Mayer. P!NK’S BUS DID NOT CATCH FIRE
The internet has been buzzing with stories about P!nk’s tour bus catching fire over the weekend while traveling in Germany from Munich to Berlin. But apparently, these stories are 100-percent untrue. The “So What” singer wrote on her Twitter account that her bus “did NOT” catch fire, and that the “story is so false it’s almost entertaining.”
KELLY CLARKSON PERFORMS FOR THE PRESIDENT
Kelly Clarkson got to do something very cool on Sunday. The original American Idol champ wrote that she was going to perform for President Obama, and that she was “pretty anxious” about it. According to WTOP.com, it was recorded for the annual Ford’s Theater July 4th Gala, which will air on ABC on July 2nd. George Lopez, Lionel Richie and others were also in attendance.
GAGA WINS A GLAAD AWARD
Lady Gaga has won another award. According to ContactMusic.com, the pop star was honored in San Francisco at the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Awards, taking home the trophy for Outstanding Music Artist. To win the category, she beat out both Adam Lambert and Brandi Carlile among others.
BON JOVI PERFORM ON ROOF OF O2 ARENA
Last night, Bon Jovi kicked off their residency in London, and they started it in an unusual fashion. According to NME.com, on Monday afternoon, the New Jersey rockers performed on the roof of the O2 Arena, the same venue where their residency is taking place. The gig was broadcast to fans on the street via video screens, where frontman Jon Bon Jovi said that the band was “not afraid” of being up so high, and that they’ll “try anything.”
MARIAH CAREY PERFORMS FOR WAL-MART
Mariah Carey proved that she still got it during her performance for the 2010 Walmart Shareholders’ Meeting at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. T.I. TO PERFORM AT BET AWARDS
The 2010 BET Awards just got even more exciting. We’ve just learned viewers can anticipate T.I. to perform during the event, marking his first televised performance since being released from prison. Tip will join previously confirmed performers Nicki Minaj, Drake, Trey Songz and Diddy-Dirty Money. Hosted by Queen Latifah, the 2010 BET Awards Show will broadcast live from Los Angeles on June 27th at 8 PM Eastern.

Lil Kim has sparked a new beef with Nicki Minaj and Diddy. At a recent New York City concert, the Queen B took aim at Nicki when she told the crowd, “It’s all about respect, you respect me, I respect you. You don’t respect me, then f**k you.” During another show in Baltimore, Kimmie stated she’s the original “f**king trendsetter” and demands “they better motherf**king respect me.” Kim then put on a pink wig and mocked Minaj while performing “Crush On You.” At that same showcase, Notorious B.I.G.’s protégé announced, “Ay, Puffy should be ashamed of his f**kin’ self!” at the beginning of “It’s All About The Benjamin’s.” The jab refers to Diddy becoming the Young Money standout’s new manager. Sara Bareilles recently announced the name of her highly anticipated forthcoming album. Alanis Morisette has gotten married! People.com reports that the “You Oughta Know” singer and 30-year-old rapper Souleye — real name Mario Treadway — tied the knot on May 22nd, just a week before Morisette turned 36. A rep for Alanis confirmed the news.

LILY ALLEN DISSES SPICE GIRLS, DAD
Lily Allen has an interview airing tonight in the U-K, and the singer-songwriter doesn’t hold back. She spoke with Britain’s Sky Arts channel, saying that she was “irritated” by the pop music she listened to growing up like the Spice Girls. Allen said that they weren’t “real,” and that she wanted to be a “real pop star” who said “real things.” She also spoke out against her father, actor Keith Allen, saying that he’s “rubbish” and “not a responsible adult.”

We’ll know where Jack Johnson’s new album To The Sea lands on the U-S charts tomorrow, but he’s got a number one album overseas.
