SLASH TALKS ABOUT RIHANNA’S HOMAGE
In her latest video, pop star Rihanna dresses as Slash and now, the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist is talking about the homage. The rocker told MTV News that he was actually supposed to be in the clip for Rihanna’s “Rockstar 101” track but with his album just coming out, he didn’t have time to film the video — he did play in the song though. As for the impersonation, in which Rihanna wears Slash’s signature top hat plus has a wig like his hair and dons shades like the guitarist, Slash said, “It brings an element of sexuality to it that I probably wouldn’t have been capable of. BRITNEY WANTS TO WORK WITH ROBBIE WILLIAMS
Many people would jump at the chance to do a song with Britney Spears, but there is only one person that is on her mind at the moment. British paper the Daily Record is reporting that the pop star recently said that she would “love to do a duet with Robbie Williams.”
T.I. TO WORK WITH LADY GAGA?
T.I. told MTV News that he recently completed a record with Lady Gaga called “Lick It” for his forthcoming album King Uncaged. The rapper described the pop star as a “phenomenal talent” and explained that “she knows what she’s doing. She knows exactly what she wants people to think and say.” Tip also feels “she’s an entertainer, in all aspects of the word.” While we’re all excited to hear the song, the emcee’s King Uncaged album won’t arrive until August 17th.
BRITNEY DOESN’T WANT TO BE FROZEN
Apparently, Britney Spears has no interest in being frozen after she dies. British paper The Sun reported that Brit was making plans to be frozen after she heard a story about Walt Disney, and her manager Adam Leber is refuting the claim, calling this rumor “one for the record books.” Learn more at BritneySpears.com.

Larry King is pretty excited about a guest on one of his shows next week. The talk show legend wrote on his Twitter page that none other than Lady Gaga will be stopping by for an interview. Larry King Live airs every night at 9 PM Eastern on CNN.
THE FRAY ARE SAD ABOUT U2
U2 recently had to postpone their upcoming tour and their fans aren’t the only people that are sad about it. The Fray were set to open some dates for the Irish rockers and now won’t get the opportunity. T.I. BEFRIENDED EMINEM WHILE IN PRISON
MTV News reports T.I. shares more than a professional relationship with Eminem. The “I’m Back” rapper and Slim Shady are so close that Em reached out to Tip while he served time in prison for illegal weapons possession. T.I recalls one of the things Em said to him was, “‘You’re gonna make it. You’re one of the ones we need, so you’re gonna make it. Stand tall and walk the walk.’” Tip revealed, “It was incredibly helpful. It was incredibly noble of him, in my eyes, to even take the time out to reach out to me.” In related news, Tip’s King Uncaged album drops August 17th.

KELLY CLARKSON AND RYAN TEDDER MAKE UP
Kelly Clarkson and Ryan Tedder had a pretty public feud after the original American Idol got mad at the OneRepublic frontman for giving her and Beyonce very similar tracks for their respective songs “Already Gone” and “Halo.” Clarkson even wrote a track about it called “Wash Rinse Repeat” that was recently leaked. Tedder spoke to the Denver Post about the situation, saying the tune is probably “somewhat” about him, but that he loves that Kelly speaks her mind. He also insists it hasn’t affected their relationship and that he’s currently “working on stuff for her next album.”
DAVID COOK GOES TO SEE LIFEHOUSE
David Cook had a pretty good night on Tuesday. GORILLAZ REPLACE U2 AT GLASTO
Now that U2 can’t play England’s annual Glastonbury festival due to Bono’s recent back surgery, Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz has been good enough to fill in. Times Online reports that the virtual band will replace U2 during the Friday night set on June 25th.
DR DRE SWITCHES UP ON DETOX
Scott Storch recently revealed a little information on the direction of Dr Dre’s long-awaited Detox album. According to Rap-Up.com, the hitmaker believes “people will be pleasantly surprised when they hear it. It’s definitely a departure from a lot of the stuff Dre has done and the stuff Dre and I have done in the past. It’s a hybrid.” In addition, the producer spilled that he helped craft the lead single “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z. The release date for Detox is still unknown.
SERENA AND COMMON SPLIT?
The New York Post reports Serena Williams and Common have apparently split up. While neither has confirmed or denied the reports, a source told In Touch Weekly that the pair “just grew apart.” The rapper is currently promoting his latest film, Just Wright, while the tennis star prepares to compete at the French Open.
