USHER SCORES NINTH NUMBER ONE SINGLE
After scoring big on the U-K charts last week, Usher’s new “OMG” single has given the singer his ninth number one song. SingersRoom.com reports the will.i.am-produced track tops this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart, following in the footsteps of Usher’s other smash hits including, “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home),” “Lil Freak,” and “There Goes My Baby.” Be sure to get Usher’s new Raymond V Raymond album. ANOTHER KELLY CLARKSON SONG LEAKS
Kelly Clarkson is not going to be happy about this. Clarkson recently had a demo leak of a song titled “Cleopatra,” and took to her Twitter to call whoever did it “sneaky little trolls.” And now, according to PerezHilton.com, yet another track by the original American Idol has been put out against her will. This tune is called “Wash, Rinse, Repeat,” and you can hear it on the gossip site now.
ARE PCD OFFICIALLY OVER?
Are the Pussycat Dolls officially done? Former member Kimberly Wyatt told DigitalSpy.com that as far she knows, the “group has fully disbanded.” Creator Robin Antin has insisted that PCD is here to stay, and that it will simply feature a different lineup around lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, saying that she just wanted to “bring in new faces.”
BON JOVI, DAUGHTRY ON IDOL
Next week’s results show episode of American Idol is going to be rocking. That’s because both Bon Jovi and Daughtry will be performing on the hit program. No details are available yet on what songs the bands will be performing, but it’s sure to cheer you up a bit if your favorite remaining Idol contestant gets voted off later that night. The American Idol results show airs live on Wednesday night at 9 PM Eastern on FOX.

The mega-rapper recently received a plaque for selling over 32-million copies since his debut album was released. AN OWL CITY SIDE PROJECT
Owl City frontman Adam Young just told MTV News exclusively that he is starting a brand new side project. It’s called Sky Sailing and it actually predates Owl City. Young said that “these recordings are a step into the past, the documented account of a shy boy from Minnesota with more hopes and dreams than he knew what to do with” and that he’s excited to share it. He plans on releasing an album under the Sky Sailing moniker on June 13th called An Airplane Carried Me To Bed. Young recently told us that he’s working on new Owl City music that is tentatively going to be released in December. No word on how his new plans have affected that.

PAULINA RUBIO IS PREGNANT!
According to the Associated Press, Paulina Rubio announced via Twitter that she is pregnant. The singer tweeted, “Life has a new meaning.” Paulina also told her fans that they were going to be aunts and uncles. The Mexican pop star gave no further details on the pregnancy. Rubio will be 39 in June and is married to a Spanish businessman. It will be her first child.
DO DURAN DURAN HAVE WORLD CUP FEVER?
Are Duran Duran catching World Cup fever? According to British paper The Daily Mirror, the rockers are thinking about doing an updated version of their classic song “Rio” in honor of the English soccer team and captain Rio Ferdinand. A source told the paper that band frontman Simon Le Bon and the soccer player are “old mates,” and that Mark Ronson may even be involved in mastering the track.
CHRIS BROWN GETS PRAISE FROM JUDGE
According to RadarOnline.com, Chris Brown received a lot of love from Judge Patricia Schnegg on Thursday for doing great work with his probation. The singer reportedly completed 290 hours of community service and is nearly done with his domestic violence classes. Looks like Breezy is on a mission to show the world that he’s a changed man.
TONI’S PREDICTED SALES NOT LOOKING GOOD
According to HitsDailyDouble.com, the estimated sales for Toni Braxton’s debut release on Atlantic Records are not looking good at all. The singer’s latest Pulse album, which includes “Make My Heart” and “Hands Tied,” is projected to move 45 to 50-thousand units during its first week. It’s not yet known where her first disc since 2005’s Libra will land on the Billboard 200. We’ll let you know on Wednesday when the official Nielsen Soundscan numbers are released.
NAS CAN’T AFFORD TO PAY KELIS?
Nas believes the judge needs to re-evaluate the amount of money he’s expected to pay his soon-to-be ex-wife, Kelis. TMZ reports the rapper simply doesn’t make enough to fork over 87-thousand dollars in child and spousal support. His lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has asked the judge presiding over the case to look at Nas’ financial records and hopefully reduce the monthly payments. The Queensbridge rap star currently makes 157-thousand a month, but he claims that he doesn’t see all of it. We’ll keep you posted with further updates.
In addition to the child and spousal support, Nas must cover his ex’s legal fees and give her up 10 grand a month for an old loan that he owes her.
