Get ready for the Canadian rock trio, MAR KZ, as they roll up to a city near you!   If you’re on the east coast or in the Midwest, then you should do everything in your power to check out this rock-solid band.   The US tour will consist of seven cities/seven venues/seven nights starting TODAY May 4-May 15.   If you like a straight rock sound with a classic charm yet having modernized distinctions, then you will absolutely love this group!

The musical trio is made up of: Dom Mar Kz on lead vocals, guitar & piano, Lu Cachie   on lead and rhythm guitar & backup vocals and Jode Delme on drums/percussion.   These three men offer up an incredible presence of sound that you will pick up on right away.   Ironically enough, all three individuals have Italian roots but only one member is actually from there.   Jode is originally from Triggiano, Bari Italy while Dom & Lu are both from Toronto, Canada.   Everyone now resides in Toronto, but it’s a beautiful thing when the best of Italy and the best of Canada come crashing in together.   This can be compared to having a glass of fine wine while you enjoy a lovely dinner.   You can’t have that fantastic food without the right choice of beverage; the two go hand in hand.   You’re getting the full course meal here from MAR KZ as they serve up some delicious items for your listening pleasures.   Feel free to browse their five-star menu at

Coming off their self-titled, debut album that was released last year in Canada, everything seems to be on the up & up.   The record was recorded in Nashville back in 2008 and MAR KZ also plan to throw a release party to honor the birthplace of this CD.   Be on the lookout for that exciting event but why wait; get your MAR KZ fix RIGHT NOW on iTunes or at   Packed with 10 exciting tunes that will buzz in your ear drums, the new album is sure to satisfy your craving for good rock ‘n’ roll music.

This band’s career was heavily jump-started in 2006 when they won a contest and the prize was one ticket to open for Bon Jovi at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.   Some impressive award for these young up-and-comers who ceased a golden opportunity and played their hearts out to 20,000 people.   Dom actually stated that it’s an absolute “surreal” feeling to play in front of a live audience.   Since that shining moment, MAR KZ have toured with Def Leppard & the Scorpions and now a brand new album under their belt. Sky’s the limit! It’s worth mentioning that MAR KZ are once again entered to win an opening spot for the July 21, 2010 Bon Jovi show in Toronto. (   MAR KZ are listed under the Toronto, Ontario channel and are currently at #30 on the list!   Bon Jovi is looking for a “SuperBAND” and MAR KZ fit the bill to the T!   You can request that this band open ANY show, so show your support and spread the word!

It just so happens that Bon Jovi’s long-time pal/producer/engineer, Obie O’Brien, produced & engineered Mar KZ’s debut release.   Also, with the first single & video off the new record “It’s My Right”, one can’t help but notice a similar ring to that of “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi.   In the end though, one thing is for certain and that is that life is just right for Dom, Lu and Jode as they prove that MAR KZ is the right life for them as a band.   The Canadian-Italians have chosen wisely!   Speaking in terms of words of wisdom, Dom MAR KZ had some insightful words of his own on the topic of rock star personas and that is that the whole rock star stigma is just a mere “image”.   He went on to say that “we’re all just regular people in the end like anyone else and that we’re all united as one”.   He finishes by stating that we should all “just have fun because you never know what tomorrow will bring”.   Words to live by as Dom speaks as not a rock star but as a human being who just happens to play music for a living.

Get ready for the all-acoustic set from MAR KZ that Dom referred to as being more of an “intimate” live experience for the fans.
