GAGA MAKES THE TIME 100 LIST
Lady Gaga has made it! The pop star is on Time’s list of the 100 people who most affect the world. Friend Cyndi Lauper actually wrote the article about Gaga, saying that she has “incredible pop sensibility” and that she’s more than a performance artist, and is in fact “the art.” There is also a video up of Gaga talking about the most influential person in the world to her, Deepak Chopra. SHAKIRA WORKING ON NEW MUSIC
Shakira has been back in the studio working on new songs for another album. According to Rap-Up.com, the singer has logged studio time with producer Jim Jonsin and songwriter Rico Love, who has written songs for Usher, Diddy and others. Love said they have worked on two songs that have a pop vibe and are reminiscent of her huge hit, “Whenever, Wherever.” On July 11th, Shakira will perform “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” the official song of 2010 FIFA World Cup, at the closing ceremony before the FIFA World Cup Final at Johannesburg’s Soccer City Stadium in South Africa.
TAYLOR SWIFT ISN’T LOOKING FOR LOVE
Taylor Swift isn’t looking for love. According to HitsDailyDouble.com, the Grand Hustle rapper’s first album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, is projected to sell between 80 to 85-thousand units based off the disc’s one-day sales. If so, his effort will likely claim the number one spot!
LADY A ARE MORE THAN JUST LUCKY
Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now climbed back up the Billboard 200 chart from number three to number two. Don’t think that only luck has made the crossover stars so successful, because as vocalist Charles Kelley will tell you from his past Vegas experiences, he doesn’t seem to get lucky too often (See Related Cut #5). KID CUDI REVIEWS NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
Kid Cudi recently saw an advanced screening of the new Nightmare On Elm Street movie and posted his reactions on his official blog. The “Day N Nite” rapper encourages everyone to “go see it” because “it’s the perfect date movie” with “a modern day twist” on the infamous “Freddy Krueger.” Cudi says the flick is “scary as f**k” and “way better than a lot of remakes.” He promises “it’s not a waste of time,” so be sure to check out Nightmare On Elm Street, in theaters now!

According to different sources, the budding rapper uses butt pads to enhance her curves. AMY WINEHOUSE IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL
Amy Winehouse is out of the hospital, and apparently, as good as new. The embattled singer was seen enjoying a night out, and according to ContactMusic.com, even performed two songs at a charity event. Winehouse was at a clinic over the weekend after she fell, bruising her ribs and cutting her forehead.
BRET MICHAELS UPDATE
Some good news coming from Bret Michaels’ camp. The Poison singer’s MySpace page has been updated by his management who wrote that Bret’s upcoming solo gigs have been postponed until late May. This means that, provided there are no further complications, they expect the rocker to be touring again in less than a month, and able to stay on the road through the fall.
