Acclaimed singer-songwriter Charlie Mars will embark on a headlining tour in support of his latest album, Like A Bird, Like A Plane, on May 11th at Pittsburgh’s Club Café. Before hitting the road, he’ll play two shows in Austin, TX: He’ll kick off the 17th season of “Unplugged at the Grove” on April 15th at Shady Grove and perform at Threadgill’s on April 17th. In July, he’ll begin a residency at Hotel Café in Los Angeles.
Mars is known for his compelling live performances. “When he’s onstage, songs with deep grooves get some breathing room, and his lush choruses inevitably lead to raucous audience sing-alongs,” said Esquire.
