McCARTNEY WANTS TO TEAM UP WITH LUDACRIS AGAIN
Jesse McCartney teamed up with Ludacris for the rapper’s remix of Jesse’s song “How Do You Sleep?” off the Departure album. The duo also collaborated on the video for the track. With McCartney heading back into the studio to work on the follow-up LP, he’s hoping to work with the Atlanta MC once again. Jesse told MTV News, “Yeah, I have some ideas in mind [in terms of collaborations], but those things always come together last-minute. We’re working on a few things.” He added, “I know that I might work with Ludacris again. That’s maybe a possibility, and he’s great – he’s one of my favorite rappers … and he’s amazing to work with.” The 22-year-old went on to say that he is taking some time off before heading into the studio to work on his next album.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CLOSES GOLF COURSE
According to the Associated Press, Justin Timberlake is closing his golf course for six months to make improvements just a half-year after opening it. The Mirimichi golf course will close from January 15th through July 17th, while its greens, bunkers and drainage are improved and its wetlands, wildflowers and native grasses are expanded.

Ke$ha scores the most-downloaded track on iTunes this week with her single “Tik Tok.” Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” “Empire State of Mind” from Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, Iyaz’s “Replay” and “Fireflies” by Owl City follow. The soundtrack to the TV show Glee — The Music Vol. 2 is the most downloaded album, followed by This is War from 30 Seconds to Mars, The Fame Monster from Lady Gaga, Chris Brown’s Graffiti and Shock Value II from Timbaland.

SUSAN BOYLE ON TOP OF BILLBOARD ALBUM CHART
Susan Boyle remains on top of the Billboard album chart for the third straight week with I Dreamed a Dream selling another 582-thousand copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album has moved a whopping 1.8-million copies in just three weeks. Andrea Bocelli’s My Christmas is at number three for the fifth straight week. The Glee TV soundtrack debuts at number three, the same week the show scores four Golden Globe nominations. Taylor Swift’s Fearless falls down one spot to number four, while Carrie Underwood’s Play On album climbs one spot to number five. Lady Gaga’s The Fame falls one position to number six and Chris Brown lands the week’s second-biggest debut, with his third album Graffiti bowing at number seven. Justin Bieber’s My World climbs four spots to number eight and Michael Buble’s Crazy Love moves up one slot to number nine. Gucci Mane rounds out the top ten with his major label debut, The State Vs. We’ve just learned Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me” has been named the most watched video on YouTube this past year. On a global scale, the reggaeton star attracted over 82-million views and managed to beat out Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The U.S.A” and Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down” with Kanye West and Ne-Yo. Lil Wayne’s much delayed Rebirth album may have been pushed back until February 2010, however 500 lucky fans received the album in its entirety due to a shipping error from Amazon. Billboard.com reports customers who pre-ordered Rebirth received it on Monday, even though Amazon was aware that the project was being delayed for the sixth time now. Be sure to get your copy of Rebirth when it hits stores February 1st.
Sources believe Weezy might add more material and possibly release another digital single as his latest offering, “On Fire,” is yet to make an impact on the charts.

During an interview with Playboy magazine, Diddy has this to say about his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez: “I met Jennifer and it was a perfect match. We definitely loved each other… We’re still cool. With the decade coming to a close, Billboard has compiled charts of the most successful albums from the past ten years and Bob Seger tops the Decade End Catalog Albums Chart with his Greatest Hits set. The compilation includes Seger’s classics like “Night Moves,” “Old Time Rock & Roll” and “Like a Rock.” Seger beat out the likes of Pink Floyd, who came in at number three with Dark Side of the Moon, Metallica whos self-titled record placed fourth, and The Beatles’ 1 in fifth.
