After years away from the music scene, William re-entered in a big way this year with his first CD of original material.
Feeling that he lacked the necessary inspiration to write his own material he stopped playing for many years. However, earlier this year he found his inspiration (see below – Story behind the music) and the creative floodgates opened and the result is this impressive debut effort aptly titled “The Veronica Sessions”.
The CD is rich in production and is best described as a pop-rock fusion with many “world” influences – especially Latin. The CD was produced by Joe Barrucco who has been nominated in the past for 3 Juno awards (Canadian Grammy) for his work on several dance tracks. Joe’s sound design work which can be heard in many tinsel town productions have made there way onto to the CD. It is sort of like listening to a great soundtrack without the video getting in the way.
Several tracks from the CD have already found there way to terrestrial and internet radio.
