LADY GAGA LEAKED

Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster is currently streaming on MTV.com’s The Leak.   When the album hits shelves, it will be available in three general formats: the eight new songs as a stand-alone album called The Fame Monster, as well as in a deluxe edition packaged with her debut LP, and a super-deluxe package with all kinds of goodies.   Lady Gaga’s also appears in the video for Beyonce’s song “Video Phone,” which premiered on MTV.com last night.   The Fame Monster will be released on Monday.   <JC>

OWL CITY & 50 CENT TOP ITUNES DOWNLOADS

Owl City’s “Fireflies” is once again the most downloaded track on iTunes.   The song is also on the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for a second non-consecutive week.   Lady Antelbellum’s “Need You Now” comes in right behind “Fireflies,” followed by “Replay” by Iyaz and Lady Gaga’s new song “Bad Romance.”   50 Cent’s Before I Self Destruct album tops the album chart, followed by the Glee TV soundtrack, Play On by Carrie Underwood and Bon Jovi’s new effort The Circle.  

JAY-Z CANCELS REMAINING BP3 TOUR DATES

Just when Jay-Z announced an extension of his BP3 tour, the rapper has cancelled the remaining three dates of the first leg. MTV New contacted Hova’s rep and learned the reason was due to an “unforeseen scheduling conflict.” It is unclear as to if the dates will be rescheduled, however, the tour will resume on February 20th in Ft. BEYONCE, LADY GAGA PREMIERE “VIDEO PHONE”

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived! Beyonce has unleashed the extended version to her new single “Video Phone” featuring Lady Gaga. The Hype Williams-directed clip can be viewed via MTV.com now! In addition, the video for Gaga’s upcoming “Telephone” single with Beyonce will premiere in coming days.

MARY J & USHER TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON

Mary J. Blige, Usher, Rob Thomas and more are scheduled to join host George Lopez for TNT’s Christmas in Washington special.   President Barack Obama and his family will be on hand for the taping of the show, which will also feature appearances from Neil Diamond and Sugarland.   The holiday musical celebration benefits the National Children’s Medical Center.   It will be taped at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, Dec. 13th and will air on TNT on Sunday December 20th at 8 PM Eastern.  

COLBIE BUYS SOME PUPPIES!

LEONA LEWIS ON THE AVATAR SOUNDCHECK

MADONNA HELPS OUT CHILDREN IN BRAZIL

There was much speculation that Madonna was headed to Brazil to meet boyfriend Jesus Luz’s parents, but apparently, Madge was just doing some more humanitarian work.   According to ContactMusic.com, the “Like a Prayer” singer met with Brazil’s wealthiest man, Eike Batista, and got him to donate seven-million dollars to the charity Success for Kids.   Supposedly, this act of kindness left Madonna in tears.

JOHN MAYER TALKS TO THE AP

John Mayer’s latest album, Battle Studies, hit stores yesterday, and the singer-songwriter talked to the Associated Press about the new effort.   Mayer spoke about how this album might be his most lyrically complex and also how he was much more confident in making this one as opposed to some of his previous efforts.   Read more at News.Yahoo.com.

BLAKE LEWIS HEADS TO VEGAS

Blake Lewis is heading to Las Vegas to support his recently released sophomore album Heartbreak on Vinyl.   The American Idol-runner up will perform a few songs at TAO Nightclub in Sin City tomorrow night.

Jay-Z has joined Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith on the production team for the Broadway show Fela! The show is based on a revolutionary African composer and performer. 50 CENT LANDS NEW MOVIE DEAL

Variety.com reports 50 Cent and his Cheetah Vision Films company have landed a major three movie deal with Action Jackson Films, which will allow 50 to produce and finance three to five films every year. In addition, the rapper will star in a flick he wrote titled, The Gun. The upcoming movie is the first of three features that 50 Cent has already penned.

DAY26 EXCITED FOR AMA’s

According to SingersRoom.com, Day26 is excited about their first American Music Awards nomination and they are hoping to win Favorite Band, Duo or Group. Brian explained that “it feels amazing to be recognized by the American Music Awards committee.” Be sure to tune in when the 2009 American Music Awards air live Sunday, November 22nd at 8 PM Eastern on ABC. <WM>

Tonight’s Colbert Report features a very special guest.   It’s going to be none other than Norah Jones, who is there to promote her brand new album, The Fall, which hit stores on Tuesday.   The Colbert Report airs weeknights at 11:30 PM on Comedy Central.

CAROLINA LIAR IS BACK TO WORK

Carolina Liar just finished opening up for Rob Thomas and OneRepublic on their U-S tour, so what’s next for the “Show Me What I’m Looking For” band?   Well according to the group’s Twitter page, frontman Chad Wolf is at home “starting to work on a new record.”   No word yet on when we can expect it.

50 CENT LAUNCHES iPHONE APPLICATION

According to his official fan site, 50 Cent has partnered with Vitamin Water for the launch of an iPhone application called 50’s Sound Lab. The rapper’s app can be downloaded for free and allows users to create and share their own mixes of the rapper’s latest single, “Baby By Me.” In addition, 50’s new Before I Self Destruct album is in stores now.

HALL & OATES ON THE CLEVELAND SHOW

Tune into FOX’s The Cleveland Show this Sunday to hear some familiar voices.   Daryl Hall and John Oates will appear on the program as themselves…kind of.   On the episode, “Cleveland” turns to his conscience for help with a decision.   It turns out that Hall is on one of “Cleveland’s” shoulders as an angel while Oates as a devil sits on the opposite shoulder.   Check out the duo on The Cleveland Show this Sunday at 8:30 PM Eastern on FOX.
