Charlotte will be releasing a new album, IRM (produced by Beck) on January 26th. This is the first time Beck has been so involved in another artist’s work. IRM is Gainsbourg’s first album in nearly four years, following 5:55, which was released in 2006 to much acclaim, selling half a million copies worldwide.
Featuring collaborators such as producer Nigel Godrich, Jarvis Cocker and Air, 5:55 established Gainsbourg as a unique singer and recording artist. Charlotte recently won the Best Actress Prize at Cannes for Lars von Trier’s Antichrist. She will also be releasing a new fragrance with Balenciaga.
