BLACK EYED PEAS ARE NUMBER ONE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ATLANTIC

The Black Eyed Peas have the number one song in the U-S and the U-K, as “I Gotta Feeling,” jumped to the top spot overseas.   According to Billboard, the band has already boasted the longest successive stay at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with 17 weeks in total for “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling”.     “I Gotta Feeling” follows the two non-consecutive weeks that “Boom Boom Pow” was at number one in the U-K in May and June.   Meanwhile, the Essential Michael Jackson started a fifth week atop the charts in the U-K, while his King of Pop album is in a fourth week atop Billboard’s European Top 100 Albums chart.
