Method Of Defiance is the new band spearheaded by the legendary Bill Laswell. The tour dates, which begin September 11 at Williamsburg Music Hall in Brooklyn, mark the first time in three years that Michigan-born, New York City based resident Laswell has played shows here in the United States. In addition to the tour, Method Of Defiance will release a live album, Nihon on RareNoise Records in the U.S. on September 22nd. The band will be recording a studio album for a 2010 release.
Method Of Defiance is Laswell on bass with Dr. Israel on vocals, the legendary keyboardist Bernie Worrell, drummer Guy Licata, trumpeter Toshinori Kondo, and vocalist Hawk, with special guest DJ Krush.
