Lady Gaga did it earlier this month, and now Katy Perry has as well. According to a press release, the pop star became just the fourth artist in the 16-year history of the Mainstream Top 40 chart to have three number-one songs from a debut album. Perry’s most recent hit, “Waking Up in Vegas,” joins her previous two songs, “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot N Cold,” as number-one hits off her record, One of the Boys. Ace of Base did this in the early ‘90s, Avril Lavigne next did it in 2003.
