Ryan Cabrera, who had a hit song back in 2004 with “On the Way Down” and was well known for dating Ashlee Simpson, is being sued. According to TMZ.com, two girls claim that when they left the singer’s house, they slipped and violently fell down the driveway, which was steep, poorly lit and “littered with leaves and debris, and contained unsafe, slippery tiles.” The suit claims that one of the girls suffered “major brain trauma injury, requiring multiple surgeries, and was in a coma, near death.” It was reportedly so bad that the hospital recommended her family pull the plug on life support. She has recovered. The girls are suing for unspecified damages.
