With her second album, Norwegian singer-songwriter Signe Marie Rustad takes a step to the side from the traditional straight-forward Americana present on her debut album “Golden Town” (2012), and goes into areas of psychedelia with space echo, reverb and backwards guitar on some songs, as well as keeping it close to the folky bone with only voice and high-string guitar on others.

The poetic feel ascribed to “Golden Town” by critics is also present on the upcoming “Hearing Colors Seeing Noises”, with poetry and music entwining even tighter. Hearing Colors Seeing Noises’ first single, “The Space Song” (released May 2015), is one of the epic pieces from the album, while second single “The Truth” has more of a folk-rock feel.
