The late XXXTentacion is a controversial and larger-than-life figure in the world of hip-hop, but to wifisfuneral, XXX is something more–one of his oldest friends. Taking the time to mourn his friend and reflect on how far he’s come, wifisfuneral shares “Alone As A Facetat,” his new music video. A subdued, Henry Daher-produced highlight from the late-2018 Leave Me The F*ck Alone EP, “Alone As A Facetat” is mournful and dark, as wifi reflects on how his friend’s death confirms his already bleak worldview: “Man up in the mirror, face that/Alone as a face tat/They took away my dawg/My heart black, that’s where it stays at.” In the video, wifi sits in a dark room, watching home movies of his heyday with Members Only, contrasting wifi’s carefree past with his more realistic and somber present. The new video follows recent single “run?”, which peaked at #3 on SoundCloud’s New & Hot chart and is currently available to stream on all platforms.
