new track from Hajk will be released tomorrow, it’s been described as containing “shimmering, woozy pop goodness” by DIY but behind the gloss the band have revealed that the track is “actually a pretty dark song about trying to convince yourself that love still exists – not just between two people, but in general”.
The track is taken from their new record titled ‘Drama’ that is coming Feb 15th via Jansen, the likes of Sigrid, Kimbra, Astrid S and other Scandi-pop masters have already got behind the band as well as Chloe Grace Moretz who shared the last single, too:

Speaking about the video Lydia said “I wanted the visuals to reflect the metaphoric nature of the lyrics in the song – it’s a song about trying to escape from a bad relationship but always being sucked back in, a feeling I likened to drowning in the lyrics. I also wanted the surrounding scene to be an abandoned party- you’ll see champagne flutes, bunting, flamingo glasses and floats, all things that would trick you into thinking you were part of something good, something fun. But once they’re ruined and abandoned the scene is just left looking pretty sad and eerie.”

Starting today, “The Ballad Of Saving Silverman,” a previously unreleased track from the upcoming Neil Diamond 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition will be available for streaming and immediate download with the digital-album preorder of the November 30th release.
Though Diamond appeared in the 2001 comedy Saving Silverman, which is about fervent Diamond fans who try to keep their buddy from marrying the wrong woman, he never let on that he had written the perfect theme to the movie. The catchy tune sums up the film and even includes a spoken-word bridge. “I didn’t ask anybody about it or tell anybody about it, but I wrote this song while we were doing the movie,” Diamond says. “I liked it a lot, but I thought maybe [the movie] needed a little something from the heart, rather than being clever.” Instead, the movie used “I Believe in Happy Endings,” which Diamond wrote specifically for the film, as well as classic Diamond tunes “Cherry, Cherry,” “Hello Again” and “Holly Holy.” After the movie came out, Diamond played the song for director Dennis Dugan, who said he would have likely used the song if he’d known about it, “but it was already too late,” Diamond says, “and I just kept it in my drawer for safekeeping until now.”
