Chris Minielly (a.k.a. Jaguar Sun) is a musician based out of a small town in Southern Ontario. A little reclusive, Chris tackled producing as a solo effort from the start using music as an escape from social stress, work, and his hectic studies in graphic design. Spending hours in his bedroom studio, Chris began producing electronic music under the name Lone Beach and after slowly refining his sound, adding more instruments to the mix, and growing out of his electronic roots, Chris dropped the name Lone Beach and started fresh under his new project Jaguar Sun.

Nicole Moudaber launches charity campaign ‘ELEVEN’ against FGM
Internationally renowned artist Nicole Moudaber, has launched her charity ELEVEN, with the aim of raising awareness and money to prevent FGM (Female Genital Mutilation). During this campaign, Nicole will be inviting people around the world to stand up for the rights of girls who have undergone, and suffered the outcomes of the practice and for those who are at risk and trying to prevent it from happening further. All the money raised by ELEVEN will go to Magool, which has been created by psychotherapist and human rights activist Leyla Hussein to support survivors of FGM and those working to end it.

Co-produced by the band alongside emerging Sydney producer/mixer, James Christowski, ‘Plastic’ mines wistful atmospherics that cut between Air and Zero 7, whilst turning head to dream-pop sensibilities attuned to the likes of Ariel Pink and fellow Australian, Kevin Parker. Speaking about ‘Plastic’, Cain says: “‘Plastic’ was the original piece of music I sent to Ivana as a demo over email, convincing her to work on music with me. We tracked the initial vocals in our friend’s basement after meeting in a cafe for the second time.”

Following previous singles Out of View and Alright, Be Yours is a powerful ballad accompanied by a sleek and emotive production.
