INDIE ROCK BAND THE DOSE RELEASE “SALINE”
Fans can catch the band performing “Saline,” “Thrill Of It” and “Vervain” during sets on the upcoming Good Charlotte tour, which kicks off October 16 at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, FL. This fall they’ll join some of the biggest names in rock, including Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Alice In Chains and System Of A Down, at the Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals.

Whispering Sons present ‘Alone’ single, tour with The Soft Moon, Gang of Four + headlining dates
Belgian post-punk outfit Whispering Sons has announced their long-awaited debut album ‘Image’. Comprised of ten tracks, it will be available on CD and digitally via Cleopatra Records.
This is the first major release for this Brussels-based outfit since their ‘Endless Party’ EP in 2015. This new release represents what the band describes as a “giant leap forward”. Together with producer Micha Volders and engineer/co-producer Bert Vliegen, the band used their time in the studio as a means to broaden their sound, enriching it with acoustic drums and a whole range of synthesizers.

To try and find out, we analyzed 100,000 songs from the lryics.com database.
More than 13,000 artists and 72,000 songs mention car search terms within their lyrics. This includes variants (car, cars, coupe, whip, truck 4×4 etc.)
94% of the top 100 musicians who reference cars in their songs are classified as hip hop artists or rappers.
We also included a breakdown of who sings the most about cars by music genre, the most mentioned cars (Mercedes, Cadillac and Bentley are the top 3) as well as the artists that reference specific brands the most.

Hull’s 6 Music and KCRW-supported psych-rock outfit, The Black Delta Movement, have announced details of a full UK tour in support of their debut album, ‘Preservation’ which is out now via Clubbed Thumb/Non-Delux. The band recorded ‘Preservation’ with producer, Mike Burnham (Fuzz Club Records, Holy Wave) at his Lovebuzz Studios, London, and, following sell out UK/EU tours and previous slots with the likes of Drenge, The Jesus & Mary Chain and Temples.
