Mythic Sunship Unveils New Song “Way Ahead”
Danish progressive space rock band Mythic Sunship will release its new LP, Another Shape of Psychedelic Music, on October 5 via El Paraiso Records. The fearless group creates epic music — cataclysmic and complex — that pulls from ’60’s blues-rock, jazz-rock fusion and the golden era of ’70’s prog rock, bursting with improvisation and an avant-garde spirit. A six track double LP, Another Shape of Psychedelic Music, follows Mythic Sunship’s Upheaval, a critically lauded LP released earlier this year, that brought respected music platform The Obelisk to exclaim, “Bands like this separate the hip from the squares.”

Lydmor new music video
“The song contains parts of the dialogue that also appears on the album’s opening track ‘The Mansion’. Once more you are hearing a mysterious voice: “Where are you going in life? I’m going in every direction possible.” In this song I’m equal parts in love and belittled.” says Lydmor.
DeathbyRomy shares new video “No More”
Los Angeles artist DeathbyRomy has shared her new video for “No More” (produced by Lindgren) off her debut LP, Monsters. The video premiered via Hypebeast and touches on the feeling of being trapped with your own thoughts while having to appear normal on the outside. Monsters is out now on all platforms and confidently straddles pop, goth and hip-hop while drawing comparisons to Lana Del Ray meets Zola Jesus. Romy has received early co-signs from Billie Eilish, Lil B, Yung Bans and Cuban Doll, with the latter three featuring on the album.
RYAN ROXIE (long time ALICE COOPER guitarist) Release ‘God Put a Smile Upon Your Face’ Lyric Video
A Coldplay song would not be the obvious tune to cover on a ‘guitar-driven’ rock record like Ryan Roxie’s Imagine Your Reality. Not the obvious choice, but the correct one. Roxie takes the melancholy mood of the Coldplay classic and injects a punkish energy to it with layer upon layer of raw guitar tracks while still staying true to the song’s dark timbre. Complimented by a new enigmatic video shot on location in the Las Vegas Desert by Director/Cinematographer Denise Truscello with graphic lyric overlay by Gustav Kronfelt and additional editing by Jonny Vegas, God Put a Smile on Your Face will do to you just what the title suggests.

MARTY FRIEDMAN: “Dragon Mistress” video
MARTY FRIEDMAN`s presence in the world of music, the world of guitar, and Japanese pop culture is mystifying, bizarre, and nothing short of inspiring. His 14th solo album, ONE BAD M.F. Live!! is an all-out celebration of his music in its rawest form. LA’s goth-pop powerhouse Holy Wars emerge with first new single of 2018, “Born Dark”
“Born Dark” sees frontwoman Kat Leon go back to her literal roots, as she explores her moment of birth and the possibility that she’s always been a bit devilish. Creatively, she was longing for a kind of release to break the shackles of the past, while fulfilling what her destiny could and should be. In the aftermath of their debut Mother Father, a dedicated set to Leon’s late parents that weaves through grim realities littered with misery’s carnage, they continue to pick up the pieces and glue them back together. Continuing their penchant for dark, tear-stained ruminations on life and death, often feeling eerily reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails, Garbage and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the new music is bigger and badder.
Ralo Faces His Legal Issues Head-On in “The World Against Me”
Using his helium-voiced caterwaul to explore his innermost thoughts, ATL rapper Ralo brings a dose of emotion and pathos into his trap music. Staring down the law and remaining steadfast in his innocence and his standing in the community, Ralo faces his critics and enemies in “The World Against Me.” Rhyming over a soulful instrumental from producer Merrille, Ralo poses several questions that provide a revealing look into his headspace: “Sometimes when I wake up, I feel like the world against me/How feel lonely when you get that much attention?” “The World Against Me” is the latest single from Conspiracy, Ralo’s upcoming project, following the YFN Lucci-featuring “Bosses Make Sure,” premiered last week by HotNewHipHop.
NEVER US Release New Single, “Retrograde”
Phoenix based rock band NEVER US has released their newest single, “Retrograde,” featuring Matthew Good of From First to Last.
“Our newest release, Retrograde featuring Matt Good of From First to Last was written to reflect the feeling of being an introvert in an extroverted environment. We tried to explore multiple facets of this theme, one of them being emotionally drained from putting on a facade for the world. Another being self-doubt that comes from being in an environment you don’t feel that you belong in, but need to be in. – Never Us
