Songwriters Behind Swedish House Mafia Hits Launch New Project VCATION & Debut Single “Lay Low”
The songwriters behind Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save the World” have launched their own creative project, VCATION, and their debut single is about to become your out-of-office anthem. Appropriately titled “Lay Low,” the track embodies that devil-may-care attitude which often accompanies vacation mode – complete with groovy, pop-inspired instrumental melodies and lyrics that are both inherently dreamy and ironic. From its opening notes, “Lay Low” gives you permission to press the “pause” button on real life and delve into a grand escape with lines like “nothing really matters, might as well watch the sun go down.” “‘Lay Low’ is about allowing yourself a break, a breath of fresh air and maybe just pulling the curtains down for a day. The world is f…d up, and we play a bit with irony in the song regarding the current state of society, and regarding ourselves and our own behaviours,” VCATION says about the track. “However, it can be kinda depressing, and without being ignorant to what’s going on in the world, it’s sometimes okay to just be and dream away for awhile.”

SIMA Releases Official Music Video for “Head Over Heels”
Rock / Pop artist SIMA has released the official music video for her single, “Head Over Heels.”
“Head Over Heels” is about being in Love. About finding that special someone that you can’t get out of your mind, someone that you can trust to be by your side no matter what. It talks about how sometimes in life we give up on love, because we get hurt so many times, that we become numb to it and forget how it feels to be in that vibration, to be in love head over heels with someone, until you finally meet that special person that changes all that and brings you back to life. Although ‘Head Over Heels’ talks about love and finding that special someone, it’s not your typical love song. It has an intense bad ass rock sound. It’s intimate and at the same time, has in your face attitude of a women that is not afraid to express her feelings and deep desires.” – SIMA
