Last summer Benny Benassi posted a snippet of a new collaboration alongside R&B megastar Chris Brown called “Paradise” to his SoundCloud, and in 30 hours the upload received more than half a million plays. Since both artists were in the midst of other release commitments, the preview was pulled from the streaming service and fans were left wanting more of the high-octane singalong.
Today the tandem releases “Paradise” in full, showcasing the track as a radio-ready anthem driven by Chris Brown’s lovestruck croons. The progressive, pulsating record comes four years after the duo’s inaugural collaboration on “Beautiful People” – one of the biggest crossover records of 2011 which topped the US club charts, reached the top 10 in Australia, Ireland, NZ and UK, and the top 40 across Europe.
On this collaboration, Benny Benassi notes “Chris and I were working on this song for a while. We both always really loved it and believed in it and I am so glad it’s now out! It was amazing to get Chris on a bicycle for the video! He was awesome. It’s such a pleasure to make records with such a huge talent. Hope people like it as much as we do!”
