Reinvigorating a 90’s classic, man of the moment DIPLO and collaborator SLEEPY TOM put their spin on ‘Be Right There’, featuring Priscilla’s fresh take on Jade’s original vocals from the 1992 R’n’B hit. Bouncy, addictive synths contrast against the longing lyrics to create a feel-good dance track. The video, taking a running with the 90s theme was directed by Dan Streit & Sean Lopez and features dancers Fulani Bahati, Asako Hara and Helen Gedlu doing what they do best to a ‘Saved by Bell’-esque backdrop – keeping it nostalgic through and through.
Currently setting records with collaborative projects Major Lazer and Jack Ü, the “man with the golden touch” has had an incredible 2015, and ‘Be Right There’ is no exception. Major Lazer’s most successful single to date ‘Lean On’ has now reached platinum status and is official the most streamed track of 2015 while Jack Ü’s most recent single with Justin Bieber ‘Where Are U Now’ topped the UK Dance chart and sits at 384m streams on Spotify and counting.
