JOIN THE RIOT got their hype right from the start releasing their debut singles Menage a trois and Karotte in 2013. Their sound is dreamy, energizing and melodic but has also been described as “infectious dance electro”. With both tracks airing on Swedish national radio and receiving praise from blogs such as Music Ninja and Kings of A&R. The buzz continued with the band’s two following single releases Queen Marmalade and Louis that same year.
With the release of their debut EP Buckle up in 2014 they started playing live a lot around Sweden and abroad including a tour in China where a gig at one of China’s biggest festivals, Midi Festival was one of the highlights. Their debut album A Glass Cage of Emotions was finally finished this summer after a one month long and tough recording session and is now set to be released worldwide in the beginning of December.
