Billboard chart-topping rap duo TWIZTID are revealing their official music video for the track “No Breaks” today via www.Twiztid-Shop.com. This will go down in the TWIZTID history books as the very first time the duo has rapped in a video with no makeup. The video, which harks back to a classic hip-hop vibe, is directed by Jason Shaltz and was filmed in TWIZTID’s home city of Detroit, MI. “No Breaks” is produced by Seven.
“UNTAMED” REMIX
East coast meets west coast in Figgy’s new remix of Corsica Arts Club’s “Untamed.” The L.A.-based CAC released the track on its self-titled EP in early June that shimmered with light guitars and cosmic synths. The airy vocals blended with the production to create a lush soundscape ripe for a top-down road trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. Meanwhile, New York’s Figgy worked his magic on the track.

JAY BLAZE ADDRESSES HATERS
There has, and always will be haters but recent events have truly brought them out of the woodwork. Things have been so crazy it’s been hard to tell if we were going back to segregation or on the brink of a holy war. Cali native Jay Blaze has written a song for the ages with #HaterzStayBack, the title track of his recently released EP. The hashtag has literally gone viral many times over as people create memes for their own ‘haterz’ topic dujour to share across their socials. This inspired Jay Blaze to make t-shirts bearing the hashtag and the response has been overwhelming. The demand is there. People are dying to rock one. DURAN DURAN ANNOUNCE EARLIER RELEASE DATE FOR NEW ALBUM
Multi-platinum superstars Duran Duran have announced that, due to popular demand, they will move the U.S. release date of their 14th studio album, Paper Gods, up from September 18th to give it a global street date of September 11th.
Singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor, and drummer Roger Taylor recorded Paper Gods in London with producers Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Josh Blair, and Mr Hudson. The songs – already being heralded as the band’s best work since Rio – capture the true essence of Duran Duran, with the duality and sense of conflict that has always been at the heart of their music. LOC HONORS WILLIE NELSON
Librarian of Congress James Billington today announced that Willie Nelson is the next recipient of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
With a career that spans six decades, Nelson’s music pushes genre boundaries and his lyrics give voice to America’s heartland. He put his imprint forever on country music and introduced it to new audiences by expanding music’s avenues in the ‘70s to create “outlaw country.” He has continually broadened his musical language, crossing into jazz, blues, folk, rock and Latin styles. A guitar virtuoso with a unique voice, Nelson is an artist whose work continues to inspire new musicians of diverse genres.
Nelson will receive the prize in Washington, D.C., in November and be feted with a series of events. The prize honors a living music artist’s lifetime achievement in promoting song to enhance cultural understanding; entertaining and informing audiences; and inspiring new generations. Previous recipients are Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, songwriting duo Burt Bacharach and the late Hal David, Carole King and Billy Joel.

FUZZ EVIL NEW SINGLE
The Obelisk has premiered an exclusive B-side track from desert doomsters, FUZZ EVIL, as the band continues to construct their debut LP.
Now in their second year together, the FUZZ EVIL trio has completed the recording of their as-yet-untitled maiden album deep in the gritty Tombstone area of their homeland in Southern Arizona, which will see release early next year. While little else on the album is currently available, the band has offered up an early listen from the recording sessions through a giveaway of “Born Of Iron.” While the track will not be featured on the upcoming LP, it gives fans and newcomers alike a dose of the material the band has been creating.

INSANE CLOWN POSSE NEW ALBUM
“Found” is the second installment in ICP’s “Marvelous Missing Link” saga. “Lost”, the first part, was released this past spring and debuted inside the Top 20 of Billboard’s album chart.
