SECRET FRIEND “BLUE SKY”
Secret Friend is the nom de plume of Thailand-based songwriter and recording artist Steven Fox. Fox’s career in music goes all the way back to the early 80’s when he played bass guitar in a popular Seattle high-school band whose sound and style anticipated the grunge movement. He moved to London in the mid 80’s where he worked as a sound designer and created samples and sounds used by major artists and producers on numerous chart-topping hits in the USA and the UK.

AKASE “RUST”

Formed in Leeds, written in London and finished in Berlin under the influence of Ewan Pearson, ‘Rust’ is the debut single from their forthcoming collaborative album.
Harry Agius has built a reputation for releasing delicately brilliant bass driven house and techno, and over the course of his various releases he has hinted at a desire to explore sounds away from the dancefloor. Coupled with the songwriting talents and vocals of Robbie Redway, ‘Rust’ is the first taste of that exploration.

Five-time GRAMMY® Award winner James Taylor has announced additional summer tour dates alongside his sold out shows at Tangelwood for his traditional Fourth of July concert and Fenway Park on August 6th, with special guest Bonnie Raitt. The shows will include material from his recently announced new album Before This World, the legendary singer/songwriter’s first album of new songs since 2002’s platinum-selling October Road. Produced by Grammy Award®-winner Dave O’Donnell, Before This World features ten songs, nine of which are new James Taylor compositions, and is due out June 16th, 2015 from Concord Records.
Before This World will be available in a variety of formats. The special 2-Disc CD/DVD Before This World Deluxe Edition includes the full-length album on CD plus “There We Were: The Recording of James Taylor’s Before This World,” a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the album on DVD. NASHVILLE MAYOR ANNOUNCES REOPENING OF WALK OF FAME PARK
Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, joined by Metro Parks and the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp., today announced that GRAMMY-winning artists Loretta Lynn and Jack White will be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame and join in the official ribbon-cutting of the newly-renovated Walk of Fame Park. The event will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 and is free and open to the public.
